Connectel uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) to power its services. AWS has many certificates and controls in place to ensure the protection, and availability of your data. Their CSA STAR Certification demonstrates that the cloud service provider conforms to the applicable requirements of ISO27001. AWS also has a Cyber Essentials plus certification, involving an onsite audit and testing the technical security controls from the Certification body. Read about Amazon’s controls here.
Connectel also enforces data protection through encryption methodologies, zero trust access principles and data redundancy controls.
Connectel has a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) detailing measures to lessen and avoid environmental disruptions. Including steps necessary before, during and after a potential event. The documentation also includes measures and actions aimed towards continuous improvement.
If you’re a European business, or a business with European customers, Connectel will always store your information within EU/EEA.
Connectel services are hosted at carefully selected cloud infrastructure providers that have passed our Cloud Infrastructure Vendor Assessment program (“CIVA”). The CIVA program covers areas such as physical site security, access controls, environmental protection, political risk, and the safeguarding of information.
Your data will be available to you for the duration of your contract with us. Once the contract ends, we will automatically delete your data within 30 days.
Connectel offer controls which extends your control over your data and adds the possibility to customize the anonymization and deletion periods.
All interactions with Connectel’s web services are encrypted in-transit with TLS 1.2, or 1.3 and with a minimum of 2048 bit keys. For agents using voice services, the calls and voice traffic are encrypted using DTLS and SRTP. Connectel also encrypts data at rest using AES-256.
Connectel performs daily backups of your data. Backups are encrypted and stored in an isolated and separate environment.
Backups are encrypted using AES-256 and retained for 90 days.
You will be able to set password policies, as well as create and manage your users with user profiles for fine-grained access control. Connectel services also support Multi-Factor Authentication for your users when accessing our services. For customers dealing with special data categories, sensitive information, or with an extra thought regarding security, Connectel offers and supports access control lists, or IP-whitelisting.
